Reid, Donald, MD (1914-1977)

Reid was the successor to Bradford Hill as head of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, from 1961 until his death. He was a pioneer in CVD and chronic diseases epidemiology and in clinical trial design and a particular colleague and mentor to Geoffrey Rose and to several U.S. epidemiologists.
