Matthews, Karen A., PhD

Karen A. Matthews is a pioneer in the epidemiology and experimental manipulation of behavior in respect to CVD risk. She directs The Pittsburgh Mind-Body Center (or PMBC) at the University of Pittsburgh. Matthews has been a leader in the professional activities of the community of CVD epidemiology and prevention and a major advisor to NIH on behavior and health.
