Dr. Labarthe, former head of the Epidemiology Concentration at U. Texas, Houston, is now Director of the CVD Branch at CDC, here laying plans for history writing about CVD epidemiology in Florida in 2002. He is now member of the Dept. of Preventive Medicine at Northwestern University Medical School.
