School tot Opleiding van Inlandse Artsen (the Foundation for the Education of Indonesian Doctors)

The colonial government of the Dutch East Indies established the Foundation in Batavia, now Jakarta, Indonesia, to disseminate Western medicine amongst Indonesian physicians. Cornelis De Langen taught pediatrics, psychiatry, neurology, pharmacology, and internal medicine here from 1914 to the 1920s.
