Luepker, Russell, MD, MPH (b.1942)

Russell V. Luepker MD came to the University of Minnesota from Harvard in 1976 as Co-PI with Henry Blackburn of the Minnesota Heart Survey and Minnesota Heart Health Program. In 1991 he succeeded Blackburn as Director of the Division of Epidemiology and remains on the faculty since stepping down in 2003. He now directs the division’s program in Clinical Investigation.
