Borhani, Nemat O.

Borhani was the first to report a decline in coronary heart disease mortality, in women in California, in the 1960s, harbinger of a Western World phenomenon. For years he headed Preventive Medicine at UC Davis, served on many of the cohort and surveillance studies, and trials of the 1970s and 80s, and was active in American Heart Association affairs.
