The Akita Provence Survey, 1993, was noted for its high rate of hypertension. It was a second generation Japanese survey led by Yoshio Komachi and was noted for its high rate of hypertension. Here, Henry Blackburn of the Univ. of Minnesota and other staff members monitor a subject during a graded stress test.
