Teaches:
PubH 6301: Fundamentals of Clinical Research

Research Interests:

1. New pharmacotherapeutic and biobehavioral treatments for peripheral vascular diseases: Principal investigator for the design and performance of single-site and multi-center clinical trials to evaluate the efficacy of interventions to improve clinical outcomes for acute and chronic peripheral arterial occlusive and venous occlusive diseases.
2. Assessment and pharmacological intervention for individuals with "intermediate" cardiovascular risk.
3. Community-based peripheral arterial disease detection, systemic risk and claudication treatment interventions, and global vascular outcome assessments.
4. Assessment of the impact of clinician and public education regarding peripheral arterial and venous diseases.
