EpiCH Professional & Administrative Staff

EpiCH P&A staff are a diverse group of individuals who bring special skills and expertise in many areas of research to the division. The group includes Research Associates, Research Fellows, Coordinators, and a variety of Specialist positions in public health and education.

P&As work in many capacities, including:

  • participating in the design, implementation, evaluation, and analysis of research studies
  • overseeing academic programs or service centers; supervisory and administrative duties
  • planning, developing, and writing grant applications
  • collaboration or lead authorship on reports, conference papers, and publications.

EpiCH P&A Council

EpiCH P&A Council (EPAC)
The Division has an organization that brings together its P&A employees several times a year, the EpiCH P&A Council.

EPAC co-chairs are:
     Lindsey Fabian and Kathleen Lenk.

EPAC Mission Statement
EpiCH P&A Council is the group of all P & A employees within the Division of Epidemiology & Community Health which serves the following purposes:

  • To help promote the goals of the Division of Epidemiology in the School of Public Health;
  • To foster communication between EpiCH P&A employees and the Division faculty, staff, and administration;
  • To increase the visibility of EpiCH P&A across the Division, the School, the University and the community;
  • To serve as resource and advocate for EpiCH P&A across the Division, the School and the University; and
  • To facilitate collegiality among the EpiCH P&A employees.

 
Other P & A structures at the U:

Peg Krieser is the Chair and EpiCH's representative to the P&A Senate of the School of Public Health: an elected body of six P & A staff members, each representing one of the divisions (including the Dean's Office) within the School. The chair of the P & A Senate sits on the School's Policy Council, which guides the Dean of the School of Public Health.
