The 2010-2011 Minnesota Public Health Association policy forum series explores the intersection of family and public health. The first forum, It’s All About the Family, discusses ways that the family—its membership, and structure, and the interactions among family members—have evolved over the last 10 to 20 years. The forum will be moderated by Mr. Ken Bence, MPHA President. Panelists include Dr. Bill Doherty from the Family Social Science Department at the University of Minnesota; Mr. Joe Kelly, fathering author and Fathering Educator at The Emily Program; Ms. Beth Quist, executive director of the Working Family Resource Center; and Ms. Janet Salo, Kinship Navigator Project Coordinator for the Minnesota Kinship Caregivers Association.
Breakfast will begin at 7:00 AM and free parking is available. For more information and to register, please visit http://www.mpha.net/.
