About EpiCH
For more than 70 years the Division has been centrally involved with regional, national, and international studies of the distribution, causes and the prevention of major diseases. Our research, education and outreach programs focus on the effects of human behavior on health, illness and injury prevention and other potential health risks on groups of people and entire populations.
The Division of Epidemiology & Community Health (EpiCH) at the University of Minnesota is a division of the School of Public Health. Our strength as a research institution lies in merging classical epidemiological observations with laboratory and population-based experiments in disease prevention and health promotion.
