The MCH Training Program of the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB) funds public and private non-profit institutions of higher learning to provide leadership training in maternal and child health (MCH). The website includes links to funded programs across the country.

The Maternal & Child Health Section of the American Public Health Association was organized in 1921 with the mission of developing innovative and creative approaches to addressing the health needs of mothers, children and families. The membership is composed of professionals from diverse disciplines including nurses, physicians, midwives, social workers, psychologists, researchers, nutritionists, day care workers who are involved at every level of health care delivery and policy development.

The Women’s and Children’s Health Policy Center.
The Women's and Children's Health Policy Center (WCHPC) was established in 1991 to address current policy issues related to evolving health systems reforms impacting on the health of women, children, and adolescents. The Center's mission is to draw upon the science base of the university setting to inform policies, programs, and the practice of maternal and child health nationally. A significant emphasis is given to conducting and translating research for application in the field.
